Production Vlog: Completing My Commercial

    Guess what pals?

    I'm almost done with the commercial! 
    
    Last blog, I told you about how I cut out all the fluff from my videos and formatted them so that they're horizontal. That was a pretty productive day, in my opinion. But today, I've got even more done. 

    The first thing that I did was put all the videos in the order that I want them in. There's not really a specific way I ordered them, like chronological or anything. I just put them in the order that felt right. The first video makes sense, because it's my friends and I saying "Hi vlog!" I'm still trying to find what the perfect last video would be. I feel like it needs to be me saying "Bye!" or me running away or something, but I don't have any videos like that, so I'm a little stuck. 
    
    The next thing I did was write my subtitles. After the video of everyone saying "Hi vlog!", I put a video of me showing off my outfit. Over that, I put the title "Commercial about me". I didn't really know what to name it, so that's just what I called it. I feels a little bit awkward in my opinion, but I don't think there are any better things to call it. Then, in the videos after, I put my name (to show that it's made by me) and gave credits to the artist of the music. I tried to put all the subtitles in different places, since I think that that makes it look more interesting. I also chose this adorable font that I think adds to the youthful and fun vibe of the video. 

    All that I have left to do now are finishing touches!

Hmmm… Decisions, Decisions

      What’s up guys! What’s going on? It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to blog without guidelines!      Sabrina, Charlize, and I had a talk today about roles in our final project. We don’t have a “team leader” or anything, so we need to decide who does what in order to make sure everyone gets something done. As in, who plays the characters, who’s doing the voice over, who’s actually filming everything, etc.      This is a really important step in the process since for our music video, we had some disagreement about it. We all agreed that we can’t let that happen again, so that’s why we did this.      So, to start, we determined our actresses. We talked about having me as an actress, but I honestly don’t really feel comfortable in front of the camera. So instead, Sabrina is going to play Madeline. Editing Blog: What's That? We're finished?

      WHAT'S UP PALS!!! I am superr hyped right now. Why? Because we're done with our opening sequence!      So, like with the music video, Charlize came to my house to edit. We used the same editing software, Movavi editor, to do our final project. First, she, Sabrina (who was on facetime with us), and I made a game plan. We went through all the scenes we already filmed and discussed which ones we'll use and what order they'll be in.      Then, we put them all into the software. The files were way too big to email, so I had to create a new Google account and back the videos up on Google Photos. This was the easiest way to get them onto my computer.      Getting them onto Movavi was a whole 'nother deal. For some reason, the videos downloaded in the wrong file format, so they didn't work with Movavi. There was no way to download them differently, so I had to screen record each one and upload the screen recordings to Movavi. Alt...
