Intro to the Final Task!

   Hey pals!

    I'm Ella (Valentina) Agnese, a sophomore at Fort Lauderdale High School. I’m sixteen years old. About a week ago, I officially finished my first music video. I learned a lot about production through that process, and now I am going to be putting those newly learned skills to use by making a movie! I know, so soon?? But what can I say, a busy girl's a busy girl. I'm not going to be making a full movie though, just the opening sequence!
    
    What are some interesting things I can say? Well, to start with the basics, my favorite colors are pink and viridian green. My favorite food is Chinese food, but I also eat a lot of meat since my family is from Argentina. I'm a competitive sailor, and I also just started playing tennis last January. I've actually gotten very good at tennis for someone so new. I've been sailing since I was five years old, and it's probably one of my favorite things to do. I sailed the Optimist from the ages of five to twelve, and then I started sailing a boat called the 29er, which I sailed for three years. Now, I'm starting a boat called the Nacra 15, and I'm super nervous. 

    I also love reading! I read all the time, and it has also inspired me to start writing stories and poems of my own. My dream is to be a writer when I grow up, but I think I'll probably end up in STEM because it's a more stable path. That's okay though, since I love chemistry and math. 
    
    I work very hard in school. I'm taking very rigorous courses right now, and I also volunteer a lot and am in a lot of clubs. I created the school's writing club, actually. And I'm already on the tennis team too, and the coach told me I might be team captain this year. 

    This is totally off-topic, but I feel the need to explain why I used the word "pals" to greet you. I used to be a streamer on a website called Twitch, where I called my audience my pals! Pal rhymes with my nickname, so I liked the way it sounded. It's kind of nostalgic for me to refer to you as my pals too. 

    Anyway, it was nice introducing myself. I hope you learned enough about me, at least for one blog.

Hmmm… Decisions, Decisions

      What’s up guys! What’s going on? It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to blog without guidelines!      Sabrina, Charlize, and I had a talk today about roles in our final project. We don’t have a “team leader” or anything, so we need to decide who does what in order to make sure everyone gets something done. As in, who plays the characters, who’s doing the voice over, who’s actually filming everything, etc.      This is a really important step in the process since for our music video, we had some disagreement about it. We all agreed that we can’t let that happen again, so that’s why we did this.      So, to start, we determined our actresses. We talked about having me as an actress, but I honestly don’t really feel comfortable in front of the camera. So instead, Sabrina is going to play Madeline. Editing Blog: What's That? We're finished?

      WHAT'S UP PALS!!! I am superr hyped right now. Why? Because we're done with our opening sequence!      So, like with the music video, Charlize came to my house to edit. We used the same editing software, Movavi editor, to do our final project. First, she, Sabrina (who was on facetime with us), and I made a game plan. We went through all the scenes we already filmed and discussed which ones we'll use and what order they'll be in.      Then, we put them all into the software. The files were way too big to email, so I had to create a new Google account and back the videos up on Google Photos. This was the easiest way to get them onto my computer.      Getting them onto Movavi was a whole 'nother deal. For some reason, the videos downloaded in the wrong file format, so they didn't work with Movavi. There was no way to download them differently, so I had to screen record each one and upload the screen recordings to Movavi. Alt...
