Peer Review Blog


    Hi pals! So, after we finished filming and editing (finally), we sent out our video to a few friends! We got a lot of really great feedback, and actually agree with a lot of it. This is what they said: 

    So, our first friend who responded was Ludgi. She said that she really liked our idea and video for the most part, but there was definitely room for improvement. Mainly in the editing department, she mentioned how our voice over sounded a little to crisp and that it didn’t fit in with the video. She also commented on a few other things, like awkward scenes. 

    Then, Enzo, our other friend, gave us feedback. He said it was pretty good, but also mentioned the voice over thing. He also said that our script sounded a bit weird and rushed and that we should edit it to fit better. 

    The next person we sent it to, Alyssa, gave us different feedback. We had gotten so much about the voiceover that we told her not to mention it because we were already going to re-record it. So instead, she told us about how the flow of the scenes were kind of weird. She said that some of the transitions are justt barely off, and that we should edit them to make them smoother. 

    We had a couple very supportive friends say that they thought it was great and that they loved it. While we’re definitely going to be changing some things, it was really sweet of them to say!
    
    Tomorrow, Sabrina and Charlize are going to come over to my house to re-record and re-edit some scenes. I’m really happy we sent it to a lot of friends because they definitely gave a lot of great suggestions. I’ll blog about it tomorrow. We have a LOT to do!

Our Pitch

  Pitch A: Two thought-to-be strangers meet, except one knows the other too well and seeks revenge on their new-found half-sibling.  Pitch B: Friends drug a girl to humiliate her, but when she goes missing, their guilt leads them on a mission to find her.  Discuss Pitch A: Valentina had an idea for an opening sequence in which we follow the stalkee's day, with the voiceover of the stalker. This would lead the audience to believe the protagonist is the stalkee, creating a huge plot twist when the stalker is revealed at the end of the sequence.
