Peer Review Editing!


    Hi guys! Today we changed A LOT. Charlize and Sabrina were at my house for almost 7 hours after school. We’re are so so tired, but very happy with our final product. What did we do today though? 

    The first thing we did was re-shoot any awkward scenes. This was mostly scenes at the park, but we also refilmed the car scene as well. We actually chose to do it from the outside instead of the inside, because Sabrina was very awkward while we were filming. 

    Next, we went back home and edited.  Actually, before that, we went out to eat and discuss a game plan! We talked about what scenes we were gonna edit and rewrote the script. The script was cut down WAY shorter than it was before, but that’s honestly probably a good thing. 

    Once we were done eating, we went home. We inserted the new clips into the software and deleted old ones. Then, we worked on our transitions. They looked a lot better. The last thing we had to do was re-record the voiceover. Although it took a few tries, it was way better than before. So, after what felt like a million hours, we were done editing and officially done with our video. Yay!! I can’t wait to show it to yall!

Our Pitch

  Pitch A: Two thought-to-be strangers meet, except one knows the other too well and seeks revenge on their new-found half-sibling.  Pitch B: Friends drug a girl to humiliate her, but when she goes missing, their guilt leads them on a mission to find her.  Discuss Pitch A: Valentina had an idea for an opening sequence in which we follow the stalkee's day, with the voiceover of the stalker. This would lead the audience to believe the protagonist is the stalkee, creating a huge plot twist when the stalker is revealed at the end of the sequence. Charlize suggested the idea that the stalker is a girl whose father left her at a young age to create a new family. When the girl grows up, she finds her half-sibling and stalks her with the intent to kill. The girls become "friends", but will they ever be family?
